San Jose teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly running into group with a car SAN JOSE — A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of charges including attempted murder, after he allegedly ran over a group of people following a confrontation at an East San Jose restaurant in September, police said.One of the people struck by the vehicle remained hospitalized with injuries still considered life-threatening, police said Friday.The incident occurred Sept. 23 when a confrontation happened inside a restaurant near the intersection of Stewart and Alum Rock avenues. When the victims left the establishment, the teenager followed them in a vehicle and plowed into the group, police said.Police released a surveillance video from the scene on Friday, which showed the initial collision.
