2 detained in double shooting at apartment complex pool in Newhall

Authorities have detained two persons of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of two people next to an apartment complex pool in Newhall on Saturday.The victims are a 16-year-old boy and an adult man, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Their identities have not been released.Deputies responded to The Village apartment complex located on the 23700 block of Silverado Street around 10:51 a.m.Two male victims were found dead at the scene, said LASD. One victim was found sitting on a lounge chair while the other victim was lying on the ground near the pool. Both victims had been shot multiple times in the upper torso. Federal authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed an armored truck at gunpoint in El Segundo.On Feb. 21, an armored truck driver was robbed while at a Bank of America located at 835 N. ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) -- Three people were stabbed Saturday afternoon, according to the Antioch Police Department (APD). The stabbing happened around 4 p.m. on the 100 block of Wilbur Avenue. A pregnant woman and two children were stabbed, APD said. The victims, a 35-year-old woman, an 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, were all taken to the hospital. Two of the three victims are listed in critical condition. Police did not specify which of the victims were in critical condition.
